Detribalize Our Country/Continent (D.O.C) - new political party.

Wise advice: Ignore this new political configuration at your peril!

 Many people have pointed out that our country, Botswana is trying to run itself as both a republic and a multi-monarchy. Some people I have spoken with, and with whom I strongly concur, have taken the decision to chart our country a more practicable path than the bipolar configuration favoured and actively being pursued by the “major” tribal chiefs in our republic. The envisaged path is for the country to become unapologetically and wholly, a republic. The name of the republic will have to change from the current tribal name of “Botswana”. 

The political vehicle planned to bring about these changes is a new political party named “Detribalize Our Country/Continent (D.O.C)”. In our country tribes will continue to exist as the Anunnaki made them. This means obviously, that each tribe that is still in our country will be only a very small fraction of the human group falling under that tribe. The link between a tribe and land will be completely severed in our country, as it was never the case pre-colonialism that boundaries/borders existed between tribes. 

Our country shall be divided into five (5) provinces: The Western Province; The Northern Province; The Mid-Northern Province; The Mid-Southern Province and the Southern Province.

The Western Province

The Western Province will be the area west of the 21 degrees East longitude and south of the 26 degrees South latitude. 

The rest of the country will be divided into four (4) provinces by the following three (3) lines of latitude: 20 degrees south; 22 degrees south; and 24 degrees south.  

Consequently: 

Northern Province will be the area north of the 20 degrees South latitude.

Mid-Northern Province will be the adjacent area north of the 22 degrees South latitude.

Mid-Southern Province will be the area between the 22 degrees South and 24 degrees South latitudes.

Southern Province will be the area between the 24 degrees South and the 26 degrees South latitudes.

There will be ONE language which will be known as both the Uniting language and the Official language. English will be that language. The rest of the languages spoken in our country will be known as Recognised languages. Amongst these will be Afrikaans, Guajarati, Setswana, Swahili, Kalanga etc.

Strange things in this world

Palestine/Israel:   The architects of Apartheid in South Africa insisted that they were implementing an "n" state solution where "n" is the number of independent states. Their "n" was composed of such Bantustans as BophutaTswana, Transkei, Ciskei, KwaZulu etc. We (rightly) vilified them and fought to destroy their unacceptable designs in our continent. Many people died in the process. Today people are advocating for the creation of another "n" state solution with "n=2" in Palestine/Israel. They call it a 2 state solution. Hendrick Vervoed must be dancing in his grave! Botswana: UDC vs IEC I listened to part of the judgement reading. An interesting point made was that if the UDC were granted the right to observe the voter registration, then other political actors (presumably, BDP, BCP etc) would also be so granted. What's wrong with Botswana cartoonists?

I mean here is a guy, on the eve of his becoming president, and he comes wearing the most ridiculous looking cap bedecked with medals; an absolute cartoonists paradise, surpassed if at all, only by Jean Bedell Bokasa's coat! And guess what, it's been two months now that he has been making decisions affecting all our lives, and not one cartoon of him wearing that ridiculous hat has appeared in the mainline press. All we get are almost exact replicas of his photoshoots, or selfies as they are called nowadays! Come on guys what do you think we live in - a Banana republic or what?
